Natalia Sawyer, Piano
Natalia Sawyer, originally from Vancouver, is completing her music degree at Wilfrid Laurier University. Currently based in Kitchener-Waterloo, she's known for her versatility as a collaborative pianist and improviser. Her recent performances include productions with Opera Laurier and at the Paprika Festival en Toronto. Natalia's musical contributions extend to Knox Presbyterian Church, where she serves as a piano scholar, and to the Kitchener-Waterloo Youth Orchesta, where she serves as assistant conductor, leading the orchesta in performances at Centre in the Square, the Conrad Centre, and First United Church in Waterloo. In addition to her performance commitments, Natalia shares her passion for music through teaching piano.
Anthony "Tony" Domzella, Director
Anthony Domzella studied piano, composition and conducting at Wilfrid Laurier University. In 2022, Anthony was commissioned by the Conservation Halton to write for the Mounstberg Conservation Area’s WINTERLIT event. His 2023 piano trio, I am also underneath the water, was premiered at the Mostly Modern Festival by the Grammy-nominated Neave Trio. In concert, he has conducted the Laurier Symphony Orchestra, the Local Vocals choir, the Trinity United Church choir, and premieres of his own works. Anthony has been music director at West Montrose United Church since 2023, previously serving as music director at Trinity United Church in Elmira from 2017–2023. He is active in the Waterloo area as a music teacher, music director, recitalist, and collaborative pianist.
